I was supposed to spend the holiday with family in Pittsburgh, but with the blizzard moving through the northeast, my parents asked us to stay safely in place in NYC. I was sad to miss the holiday with them, and the extended family/pandemic babies that I don't get to see so much, but it's been a beautiful reminder to find magic in everything and embrace spontaneity when things don't go as planned.
